DeKalb County CEO Burrell Ellis recently spoke to a national civil rights group about economic empowerment in urban communities.
Joining Ellis on the National Urban League panel were Rev. Jesse Jackson, Asian-American Justice Center President Karen Narasaki and Comcast Vice President Payne Brown.
The conference ran the last week of July in Boston.
