A Clarkston Asian restaurant failed a health inspection this week after officials noted concerns including an employee “handling raw chicken then touching food contact surfaces.”

PS-Asian Restaurant, located at 926 Montreal Road in Suite 6, received a 68/U on the Wednesday inspection, according to the report.

The inspector’s qualms with the establishment included that a rice spoon was stored in standing water and there was no hot water in the bathroom.

Also, ingredients stored on the cook’s cart weren’t labeled, the report said, and there was concern that forks could be contaminated.

A phone number listed online for the restaurant appeared disconnected Thursday.
