DeKalb agrees to small business funding program

DeKalb County has agreed to give a local small-business program federal funds to help create local jobs.

The $385,000 in federal block grants to the DeKalb Enterprise Business Corporation Corporation, or DEBCO, will be used for a revolving loan fund. The fund provides financing for small businesses who create or retain jobs for low- to moderate-income residents.
