The city of Decatur is warning residents about resurfacing planned for the intersection of Church Street and East Ponce de Leon Avenue.

The work is scheduled to start Thursday at 8:30 a.m. and be done by Friday at 6 p.m.

“Traffic will be maintained at all times through lane shifts or one-way traffic with flaggers, though delays should be expected,” the city said in a statement. “Commerce Drive on both the east and west sides of downtown provides for optional routes of travel.”
