The Decatur City school board will meet 6:30 p.m. Tuesday to discuss regular business and plans for the 2011-2012 budget. The district is anticipating a $750,000 to $1 million reduction, and is considering salary freezes for all employees, possible reduction of the board's contributions to health benefits, reduction in positions, reduction in school allotments and reductions in technology.
