UPDATE: The restaurant has been re-inspected and the new score is a 83/B.

ORIGINAL STORY: A wings restaurant in Buckhead failed a recent health inspection, with officials noting spoiled lettuce in a cooler and raw chicken stored on the floor.

Wings 101, located at 2625 Piedmont Rd., scored a 63/U following a Wednesday afternoon inspection. There are also locations in Norcross, Tucker and Roswell.

According to the report, employees were seen cooking food without hair restraints.

Officials also reported debris on a kitchen fan, power cord and storage racks.

A woman who answered the phone Monday afternoon said the manager was not in.

Follow-up inspections are generally completed within 10 days of the original evaluation.
