Day to recycle eletronics safely in Forsyth set for May

Keep Forsyth County Beautiful will hold its annual  electronics recycling day Saturday, May 8, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in parking lot 3 of the City of Cumming Fairgrounds on Castleberry Road.

Residents may bring items such as computers, monitors, printers, cameras, cell phones, stereos and televisions. There is a minimum donation of $5 per car load. Those bringing televisions must pay an additional $10, and large wooden console and projection televisions will not be accepted.

Last year, the event bought in 56,781 pounds of electronics for recycling.
