Davis scholars announced
The Davis Family Foundation of Atlanta has announced a dozen recipients of its $21,500 in need-based scholarship grants for the coming school year.
Winners are Jasmyne C. Cannon, Ava A. Davis, Laquitta N. Pearson, Tywanda Nicole Powell, Cherrelle D. Ray and La’Shai Monique Bostic, all from Grady High School; Anthony Marshall Hand and David Michael Lovelle Smith, of Benjamin E. Mays High; Maurice D. Robinson of Atlanta Metropolitan College; Felicity Renee Witt of The Darlington School in Rome; Martinque Catrice Douglas of the University of Georgia and Jasmine Worthen of Wesleyan College.
