Rocky Atkins has been appointed executive director of customer service for ATL311, the city’s non-emergency customer service line launched in 2014. Atkins comes to the job with more than 20 years of experience in operations and customer care leadership, the city said in its announcement.

An Atlanta native and Georgia State University graduate, Atkins previously was director of customer service for Three Mobile, a large mobile service provider in Europe, and also worked for AT&T leading customer service delivery for the company’s outsourcing business across Europe, Asia and North America.
