After being closed several months due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the Outdoor Leisure Pool at the Cumming Aquatic Center reopened to the public this week.

Pool sessions are from 2:30 to 6 p.m. Wednesdays; 1 to 5 p.m. Sundays; and 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 to 6 p.m. all other days, according to an Aquatic Center announcement. Separate admission is required for each session.

“Guests will be admitted on a first come, first served basis with a maximum occupancy of 200 patrons,” the Aquatic Center said. “All staff and guests will be screened upon arrival and are asked to follow social distancing guidelines as recommended by the CDC in order to keep everyone healthy and safe.”

Visitors are encouraged to shower at home and limit their use of the locker rooms. Life jackets and deck furniture will be sanitized and available to the public. The concession stand will be open. Cabanas are available for rental, up to 39 people per cabana; as are summer private pool bookings for up to 200 bathers per event.
