Two daughters, whose parents started a beauty company in Atlanta more than 30 years ago, are bringing their arm of the family business to Cobb County.

Marquis and Marquel Bohannon will open Bovanti Cosmetics & Spa on the second floor of Cumberland Mall, near Zales, with a grand opening Oct. 5 at 10 a.m.

The shop will offer products and services including makeup, skincare, lash extensions and facials.

The first two locations from the sisters opened in North Carolina in 2010 and 2015.

“It’s such a wonderful feeling to be opening our newest retail location in our hometown,” the Bohannons said in a release. “We are honored to carry on the legacy that our parents started 34 years ago.”

In other shopping news: Three stores that were announced by the mall in late August are now open:  Moe's Southwest GrillBuild a Bear and Thai Café. According to a spokesperson, Footaction/Flight 23 has a tentative opening date of Nov. 4.
