Emergency crews were at a two-vehicle accident Monday afternoon in south Cobb County in which six people were hurt, two of them critically, Channel 2 Action News reports.
A Volkswagen crashed into the passenger side of a Saturn at Humphries Hill Road and C.H. James Parkway near Austell about 3 p.m. Three adults and three children were in the vehicles, according to Cobb County police.
One victim was flown by helicopter to a hospital, police said. Multiple ambulances also were at the scene.
The intersection was reopened to traffic by 4:30 p.m., Channel 2 reports.
