Crawford Long student found

Atlanta police said a Crawford Long Middle School student who had been missing since Friday evening was found Saturday.

Police said the mother of 12-year-old McKeyeious Edwards had called to say her son did not return home after school. He’d asked whether he could spend the night with a friend but was told he couldn’t.

Police spokesman Officer John Chafee said the student had been located Saturday and was safe. No further details were provided.
