Atlanta police are searching for two men who stole at least 12 bottles of alcohol from a popular Inman Park pub two weeks ago.
Surveillance video outside North Highland Pub showed one man throwing a brick through the front door glass window of the North Highland Avenue restaurant just after 4 a.m. on Aug. 14.
The two men then jumped inside the business and were in there for about 40 seconds before they ran off with bags filled with alcohol.
The store manager told Atlanta police the last employee left the business at 3:58 a.m., according to a police report. Two minutes later an alarm went off at the store. When interviewed by police, the owner said the last time he checked the restaurant’s cameras, he did not see any movement inside the business and did not notice any broken windows.
According to the report, the two burglars grabbed alcohol from behind the bar counter. The following morning, an employee saw the broken glass and called the store manager.
Police described one man as 6-feet tall and 180 pounds. He was wearing a black hat, black shirt, black basketball shorts with a white stripe on the sides and blue tennis shoes.
