Dunwoody police believe the same man who robbed a Bank of America branch just northeast of Perimeter Mall over the weekend hit the bank in early June.

After entering the bank at 1 Perimeter Center East off Ashford-Dunwoody Road, the suspect handed a teller a note demanding cash Saturday just before closing, police said. He fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of money and is  considered armed and dangerous, police said.

In June, police said, the same suspect told the teller, “You have 30 seconds [to] give me 100s and 50s or I’m going to start shooting everybody right now!” He got away with $8,330 in that holdup.

The suspect is described as a black male, about 5 feet 9 to 6 feet tall and 180 to 200 pounds. On Saturday he was wearing a black hat, tan jacket and a black polo shirt, and was carrying a dark colored bag over his right shoulder.

Police are asking people with information about the suspect should contact Detective Andrew Thompson at 678-382-6921 or Andrew.thompson@dunwoodyga.gov, or submit tips at www.dunwoodypolice.com and click on “submit a tip”.
