Gwinnett County police on Tuesday announced a significant sweep of suspected drug houses in Lawrenceville, Suwanee, Norcross and Doraville.

Officers arrested 19 people during the raids, ranging from two 19-year-old women to a 54-year-old woman. Police  seized nine guns, nine vehicles, more than $28,000 in cash and more than $120,000 in methamphetamine, cocaine and prescription pills.

Narcotics detectives acted on tips "about two groups of people selling methamphetamine in Gwinnett," police said in a press release. "The detectives involved in this case were able to determine that both groups were buying and selling between each other."

Officers executed warrants at 545 Laurelton Circle, Lawrenceville; 1176 Samuel Drive, Norcross; 6428 Elrod Street, Doraville; 900 Legacy Park Drive, #2218, Lawrenceville; 722 Lookout Point, Lawrenceville; and 3051 Suwanee Creek Road, Suwanee.

Police seized 1090.7 grams of methamphetamine, valued at $109,070, and 53 grams of cocaine, valued at $5,300. Several suspects were charged with trafficking in methamphetamine, while others were charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession with intent to distribute.

Twelve men and seven women were arrested.
