Gwinnett County police are searching for a man who was seen on camera stole a PlayStation 4 console from a church.

The suspect broke into Sugar Hill Church on Nelson Brogdon Boulevard between 4:30 and 5:05 p.m. on March 22, police said. The man accessed the building through an unlocked window, according to police.’

The PlayStation 4 was the only item taken on March 22. A pastor at the church told an officer that an Xbox had “gone missing” from the church on Feb. 29, but there was no evidence it had been stolen.

The suspect in the video was described by police as a man in his late teens or early 20s wearing a white hat.

Anyone with information about this case is asked to contact Gwinnett County detectives at 770-513-5300 or Crime Stoppers at 404-577-8477. Crime Stoppers tips may be rewarded with up to $2,000 if they lead to an arrest or indictment.

Gwinnett County Public Schools came back from Spring Break with plans for closing out the school year.
