A former Paulding County church employee has been accused of sending a partially nude photo of his wife to a 14-year-old boy, police said.
Clarence Anthony Harper, 43, turned himself in to police Tuesday and was later released on $6,800 bond, said Cpl. Brandon Gurley with the Paulding County Sheriff's Office. Harper was charged with one count of electronically furnishing obscene materials to a minor and one count of computer or electronic pornography, Gurley said.
Harper, of Dallas, previously was the Executive Director for Hope United Methodist Church in Dallas. Deputies believe Harper knew the victim because they were neighbors and the two are not related, Gurley said.
Investigators believe there could be additional victims, Gurley said.
The sheriff's office received a complaint Oct. 27 that Harper had sent the teen a semi-nude picture of his wife through a text message, Gurley said.
Anyone who believes their child may have also been a victim is asked to contact the sheriff's office at 770-445-6105.
