A Fayette County man accused of exposing himself while driving on I-75 said he was having a "personal moment" that he didn't intend to be public, police said. But a passerby caught the alleged act on a cell phone and shared it with police.

The witness called 911 Tuesday morning after seeing the man and provided a description of the suspect's vehicle, Sgt. Jonathan Rogers with the Bartow County Sheriff's Office said Wednesday.

Based on that description, both a deputy and a Georgia State Patrol officer stopped Mark Allen Cruver, 41, of Fayetteville, on I-75, Rogers said. Investigators determined Cruver was the accused man and placed him under arrest.

After his arrest, Cruver admitted to the act, Rogers said.

Cruver was charged with one count of indecent exposure and booked into the Bartow County Jail, police said. He was released after posting a $2,000 bond.
