Contract approved for airport pavement marking

The Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners voted Tuesday to award a pavement marking project for Briscoe Field in Lawrenceville to low bidder Peek Pavement Marking, LLC. The contract, not to exceed $111,115, is 95 percent funded by the Federal Aviation Administration Airport Improvement Grant, 2.5 percent by the State Airport Improvement Grant and 2.5 percent by the Airport Renewal and Extension Fund.

The project will provide for the repainting of the runway, remarking taxiway centerlines, taxiway edge lines and movement area and non-movement area boundary markings.
