A citizen-advisory committee will meet Monday in DeKalb County this week, to review various zoning and permitting applications.

The Community Council meetings offer a chance for residents to discuss the requests that will eventually go to the Board of County Commissioners for final say.

Projects in District 5, represented by Commissioner Lee May, will be heard at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the Redan Trotti Library on Wellborn Road near Lithonia.

After the local council meeting, projects go before the county’s Planning Commission before being sent to the county commission.
