Commission renews neighborhood stabilization contracts

Sept 20, 2012

The Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners this week renewed contracts with three firms to carry out a program that tries to stabilize neighborhoods hit hard by foreclosures.

Commissioners approved contracts with the Atlanta Neighborhood Development Partnership, Gwinnett Window and Door and The Macallan Group. They will continue to buy and rehabilitate foreclosures homes and sell them to working families.

The program is paid for with a grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. For more information about the neighborhood stabilization program visit www.nspgwinnett.com.
