State Rep. Alisha Thomas Morgan will host an education conference March 12 about Common Core Standards and the Race to the Top grant.
Morgan, D-Austell, along with representatives from the Campaign for High School Equity, Coalition for the People’s Agenda, Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund and the Georgia State Conference NAACP Branches will be on hand to discuss the latest education news and answer questions.
The free forum begins at 10 a.m. in the auditorium of Inman Middle School, 774 Virginia Ave. NE in Atlanta. A light lunch will be served.
