Cobb school system needs bus drivers

Attrition and shifting attendance is driving demand for bus drivers in the Cobb County Schools.

Cobb wants to hire 30 drivers before school starts Monday. A school system spokesman says the new demand is due in part to students who requested transfers from schools that repeatedly failed to make annual yearly progress.

Applicants must be at least 21, have a high school diploma or GED and hold a valid Georgia commercial driver's license with S and P endorsements. Apply online at www.cobbk12.org/centraloffice/hr/employment.
