First disagreeing with the annexation request, now the Cobb County Board of Commissioners agrees with the annexation of a 4.19-acre tract into Smyrna. The property at the corner of Fontaine and the East-West Connector is to become 15 detached units at 3.58 units per acre in a single-family subdivision.

Since city officials have lowered the density, commissioners voted 5-0 recently to approve the annexation.
