Cobb NAACP Freedom Fund Gala set for Oct. 27

Mark your calendars. The Cobb County NAACP has set the date of its 31st annual Freedom Fund Gala for Oct. 27 at the Marietta Hilton Conference Center and Resort.

The gala will be hosted by co-chairs, Nelson Geter, executive director of the Cobb Development Authority and Mitzi Smith Moore, president of Sundial Plumbing Services. Ron Newcomb, president of Chattahoochee Technical College, will be the honorary chairman.

This year's gala "Your Power, Your Decision, Vote," gala will honor people positively impacting the Cobb community.
