Cobb library fundraiser features local author

Author Wendy Wax will be the featured speaker during the Cobb Library Foundation’s Booked for Lunch event on Wednesday.

Wax, a Florida native and current suburban Atlanta resident, has written books that have been included in the Rhapsody Book Club. Her latest novel, Ten Beach Road, tells the tale of three women bankrupted by a Ponzi scheme.

The fundraiser luncheon begins at 11:30 a.m. at the Marietta Country Club, 1400 Marietta Country Club Drive, Kennesaw. Tickets: $25.
