Cobb lawmakers host transportation town halls

Sept 2, 2011Cobb County’s state lawmakers are hosting two town hall meetings for county residents to discuss the draft list of projects to be funded by a regional transportation tax.
The list is set to be finalized by Oct. 15, and referendum on the penny sales tax is set for next year.
Sen. Judson Hill, R-Marietta, will hold a meeting at 7 p.m. on Tuesday at Walton High School, 1590 Bill Murdock Road in Marietta.
Rep. Earl Ehrhart and Sen. Lindsey Tippins, will host a meeting at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday at Harrison High School, 4500 Due West Road in Kennesaw.
