The Cobb school board will meet 3 p.m. Sunday at 514 Glover Street in Marietta to approve the contract of Michael Hinojosa, the finalist for superintendent. The district was required by state law to wait 14 days after naming Hinojosa the finalist before approving a contract. Board chairwoman Alison Bartlett said Hinojosa would earn $237,000 annually and he is expected to start July 1.
