Cobb bridge to be repaired over Little Noonday Creek

A bridge will be rehabilitated on Piedmont Road over Little Noonday Creek.
The Cobb County Board of Commissioners awarded a contract on May 28 to Excellere Construction for almost $81,279 as the low bid.
Funding will come from the 2016 Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax.
Work will include the repair of existing cracks in the walls.
The completion date for this project is 60 consecutive calendar days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed, according to a May 28 memo from Cobb County Department of Transportation Director Erica Parish to Cobb County Manager Rob Hosack.
