Valet parking will be available Nov. 1 through Dec. 31 in the Waddell Street parking deck in Marietta.
The Cobb County Board of Commissioners approved Oct. 24 the license agreement with Georgia Valet Services for the lease of 50 parking spaces in the deck for around $2,227 to be paid to the county in advance.
This agreement also has received approval from the Marietta City Council.
Hours will be 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.
Free, unassisted patron parking in the deck also would still be available.
The first agreement with Georgia Valet Services lasted from June to August.
“It was a success in offering local as well as out-of-town patrons the opportunity and convenience of valet parking while attending functions on the Marietta Square,” said Cobb Property Management Director Scott Barfield and Cobb Support Services Agency Director Eddie Canon in an Oct. 24 memo to County Manager Rob Hosack.
