Think you know more Black History trivia than a Clayton County middle school student? Come find out Feb.23 as students from seven middle schools participate in the Middle School Black History Month 2013 Quiz Bowl. The event will be at the Glad Morning Outreach Family Life Center at Travelers Rest Baptist Church, 2112 Rex Road in Morrow. Participating middle schools include: Adamson, Babb, Kendrick, Morrow, Mundy’s Mill, North Clayton and Pointe South. “This is a great opportunity for the community to learn more about the great accomplishments of African Americans and the contributions we have made to this country,” said Commissioner Sonna Singleton who is presenting the event. “I am even more excited at the opportunity to showcase the bright, intelligent and academically focused students that we have in Clayton County middle schools.
