Cities in Henry County note holiday operating schedule

All four cities in Henry County will be under similar schedules as far as holiday closings in the coming weeks. City Hall in Hampton, Locust Grove, McDonough and Stockbridge will be shut down Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve according to officials in each location.

Any of those offices could close early New Year’s Eve depending on how busy they are, but that decision would not be made until that day. There will be no municipal court in any of the cities after Dec. 18 until the beginning of the new year, and those schedules vary by city. All court offices will be closed the same days as City Hall.
