Child discovers parents dead in Riverdale home
A man and woman were found dead by one of their children in an apparent murder-suicide Thursday afternoon, Clayton County police said.
The incident happened in the 500 block of Hamlin Trace.
The child came home, saw blood and called the police around 4:20 p.m., Clayton police spokeswoman Lt. Tina Daniel told the AJC. The causes of death have not been released.
Names have not been released pending notification of the next of kin and to protect the couple's three children, Daniel said.
"The true victims in this scenario are the kids," Daniel said.
