A Cherokee County teenager was killed in a weekend bicycle-vehicle wreck in Bartow County.
The Georgia State Patrol said Jordin Metcalf, 18, of Waleska, was walking his bike northbound on the right edge of northbound Ga. 3 at Market Place Boulevard when he was hit from behind by a 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe driven by Ellen Allen, 52, of Cartersville.
The accident happened about 11:15 p.m. Saturday.
The patrol said charges are pending in the accident, which is being investigated by the GSP Specialized Collision Reconstruction Team.
