Cherokee to consider subdivision zoning standards
Cherokee County Commissioners Tuesday will consider the Etowah Community Land Development project standards. It’s for a t project that has been proposed as an 1,800 home development with a commercial component on a tract of land off Creighton Road near Ga. 369 and Ga. 372. It includes a consolidated list of zoning conditions.
The commission will also consider rezoning a nearly 50 acre tract on Evans Cook Road from partly agricultural to residential for a single-family home subdivision. The application was submitted by Evans Cook Road Fifty LLC.
The commission will also look at Pacific Group’s request to rezone nearly 30 acres on Charles Cox Road from agricultural to residential for a single-family home subdivision as well.
