The Cherokee County Board of Commissioners Tuesday okayed buying 6.14 acres of land for a new branch library in the eastern part of the county. The county is paying $170,000 for the plot at Ga. 20 and Old Mill Road. The 18,000 square-foot facility will be part of the Sequoyah Regional Library System. Mark Woolsey for the AJC
