Caregiving summit at Georgia Southwestern State

The Rosalynn Carter Institute for Caregiving will hold its 24th annual National Summit and Training Institute Wednesday through Friday on the campus of Georgia Southwestern State University in Americus.

The theme is “Using What Works: Bringing Effective Caregiver Programs to Your Community” and will help agencies deliver support programs to caregivers across the nation.

Speakers  include U.S. Secretary of Labor Hilda Solis.

The Georgia Caregivers of the Year and winners of the 2011 Rosalynn Carter Leadership in Caregiving Award will be recognized by former First Lady Rosalynn Carter on Thursday.
