Johns Creek residents will see three contested City Council elections on the Nov. 5 municipal ballot, the city announced after the candidates qualifying period ended.

Brian Weaver, Dilip Tunki, and Royce Reinecke qualified as candidates for Post 2, the city said. Incumbent Council Member Jay Lin is not seeking reelection.

Adam Thomas, Chris Coughlin (incumbent), Kent Altom and Marybeth Cooper qualified in Post 4.

In Post 6, Erin Elwood, Issure C. Yang and Judy LeFave qualified; incumbent Council Member Steve Broadbent is not seeking reelection.

The deadline for Johns Creek residents to register to vote is Monday, Oct. 7, the city said. Early voting will take place Oct. 15-Nov. 1; early voting locations, and application information for absentee voting, will be listed on Fulton County's election website: https://bit.ly/1PbnhrX
