Investigators are searching for two people caught on camera burglarizing a man’s home which has been the site of three break-ins over the past year, DeKalb police said.
According to incident reports obtained by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, thieves have stolen thousands of dollars worth of electronics from the home, located on Bonway Drive in Belvedere Park.
Police asked residents to be on the lookout for the people responsible for at least one of the robberies, which was recorded on an in-home security camera.
The first break-in occurred last April, according to a police report. The homeowner found a window had been left unlocked, and his Xbox and TV were stolen. They were collectively valued at $1,500.
In January, the break-in was more brazen. A neighbor noticed the home’s rear glass door had been shattered, and police found a red brick in front of it.
Inside the home, “the cabinet doors were open, mattresses had been flipped over, closet doors were open, and items were turned over,” the police report said.
The two people caught on camera stole the resident’s Y-3 tennis shoes, valued at $1,000, and his $150 Bose Bluetooth speaker.

In the images, the robbers are wearing black hoodies and skull caps. They are both about 6 feet tall.
Just last Thursday, detectives found that the home’s front door and window were open. When the homeowner arrived, “he advised that the only thing missing was his television” valued at $1,200, the report stated.
