Police have identified a man killed by a hit-and-run driver early Thursday morning near Buford.
Gwinnett County Police spokeswoman Cpl. Edwin Ritter said Edward T. Harley, 61, of Buford was struck and killed around 2 a.m. near the intersection of Buford Drive and Satellite Boulevard.
The motorist then drove off and was last seen traveling north on Buford Drive and turning right onto South Lee Street, Ritter said.
Ritter said investigators are looking for a vehicle that has a piece of plastic missing from a headlight cover and a shattered side window.
