Buford Commissioners voted Monday to rezone an 82.4-acre tract of land on Fraser Road to allow for a new residential subdivision. The request, made by People’s Bank and Trust, was approved under the condition the number of homes will be reduced from 119 to 36 with each home a minimum of 3,000 square feet.

Approval for rezoning also requires the neighborhood have a homeowners association to manage common areas.
