Budget amendments made to three Cobb parks

The Cobb County Board of Commissioners agreed 5-0 Tuesday on budget adjustments for three parks:

• Lions Park, 620 Lions Club Drive, Mableton for a $521 reduction to make the total $1,008,809 from Archimetric Design and Construction for replacement of a concession/restroom building, regrading baseball fields and replacement of dugouts, backstops and other fencing.
• Kennworth Park, 3900 South Main St., Acworth for a $15,638 reduction to the field renovation, making the total $1,753,689 from Integrated Construction and Nobility, Inc. but adding a new parking lot for $19,788 with the other half to be paid by Acworth.
• Fullers Park, 3499 Robinson Road, Marietta for a $15,826 reduction to replace three concession/restroom buildings for a revised total of $1,200,874 from Diversified Construction of Georgia, Inc.
