Brookhaven’s Ashford Park foot bridge closed for repairs

The city of Brookhaven has closed a foot bridge in Ashford Park, 2980 Redding Road, after establishing its ownership of the bridge. The city hired a structural engineer that inspected the bridge and issued an assessment that states the bridge connecting Camille Drive and Valvedere Road is unsafe for foot traffic and must be closed.

The city is planning repairs and will keep residents informed on further updates once a timeline is established.
