A boil water notice that was issued in Canton after a water main break was lifted Friday, according to the city's website.
The break, which occurred Wednesday, was on Ga. 140, about a quarter-mile north of the intersection with Riverstone Parkway.
Places within the Puckett Creek and Whispering Hills communities along Shoal Creek Road and along Ga. 140 from Shoal Creek Road north to Belletta Drive experienced water service outages.
