Bethesda Park Senior Center to be remodeled

The Bethesda Park Senior Center near Lawrenceville will get an interior remodeling under a contract approved by the Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners Tuesday.
The commission awarded the $534,800 contract to low bidder Thurgood Construction. The company will install new flooring, ceiling, lighting and plumbing fixtures and perform other work. The project will be paid for with proceeds from a 2005 sales tax for capital projects.
