Looks like the groundhog got it right; Saturday's sunny skies and temperatures in the 70s feel just like an early spring.

Channel 2 Action News meteorologist Brad Nitz said in his Saturday morning broadcast that the wonderful weather should last through the weekend, with conditions getting a little cooler the early part of next week.

Sunday morning may bring patchy fog, but no precipitation is predicted until perhaps late Monday night, early Tuesday morning.

Overnight lows should be in the upper 40s or low 50s until Wednesday, when more winter-like weather, and lows in the high 30s, should return. Even then, skies will be sunny and the high temperature may crack 60.
