Ball Ground announced it has reopened its City Hall for in-person service – though with reduced manpower, as the city continues to use a combination of on-site and telecommuting staff for daily operations due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

Public hours for City Hall are 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

"Customers seeking in-person services at City Hall should enter the facility wearing a face mask," the city said in a Facebook posting. "Customers who prefer not to wear a face mask should continue to obtain their services either online or via telephone."

Additionally, the city said, tennis, pickle ball, softball and baseball fields are open, subject to social distancing guidelines put out by the governor's office. Basketball courts remain closed "due to the extremely close contact nature of the sport," the city said. Information: https://bit.ly/2U5Oxlc
