Auction to help UGA Marine Institute

The Friends of the University of Georgia Marine Institute is running an online art auction to raise money for the Marine Institute on Sapelo Island. The institute was created in 1953 and conducts research on coastal ecosystems. The auction pieces were donated by artists who spent a weekend on Sapelo. Bidding ends at noon Dec. 5.
