Scattered showers could bring a soggy start Saturday to the weekend, but it won’t be a complete washout. The weekend is filled with events, ranging from football to concerts and beloved Disney characters.

Rain should clear by late Saturday, according to Channel 2 Action News meteorologist Karen Minton. Skies will be clearer Sunday, and with less humidity, it should feel more like fall.

The forecast: The weekend should bring an end to recent 80-degree weather. Saturday and Sunday high temperatures should reach only the low 70s before dipping into the upper 50s overnight. Any rain should be gone by Sunday when humidity will be lower, Minton said.
